Yes, It may be raining and a little chilly outside, but it is a Beautiful Day! This is another day that the Lord has blessed us with on His Earth...AND this is my LAST DAY OF TREATMENT THIS WEEK!!!! 5 down,16 more to go.
I want to thank all of you who have taken time to read this or who have thought about my family and I during this time. Like Deb wrote, it is the family that battles through the cancer, not just the patient. Which reminds me more that we are never alone in anything we do. The Lord is with us, even when we do not think that he is...amazing? I believe so.
This week was a little rocky at times. I have been eating well but sleep is the one thing I am struggling with. I am blessed to not have gotten sick this week. I have heard horror stories of people who cannot eat, are naueseated all the time, stricken with fever and sores, and I haven't had one of those problems yet! I have actually gained 5 pounds this week. I'm a little upset about that because I was told I would be losing weight and the "Biggest Loser" Contest at my work is over in a few weeks! I wanted that money and time off!
Thank you all, for your prayers, your words of support and encouragement, and for taking time to think about my family and I. May God bless each one of you!
Godspeed- Schwank

I just wanted to take a minute to let you all know that I am praying for you all for peace, grace and strength. And then I stop and Thank God for the wonderful people that you all are!! A sense of humor is truly a gift from God and he truly gifted the Schwentker family heavily in that area. I am thankful that Val is in my life and I pray that I may be a blessing to her during this time.
God's richest blessings of Faith, Family and Friends to all of you.
Love,
Cathy B.
As you can see I needed Caitlyn to help me through! google wouldn't accept any of my e-mails!

Jeremy and Family,
Jeremy, glad to hear you are still being strong. I will try to get a hold of you this week coming up. I will be up bright and early Monday morning for opening day (turkey hunting). I do alot of thinking and praying during this time. Thanking God for the wonderful things he has done for us. You know, its real peaceful out there. Hearing the birds, seeing the trees, grass, cows, smell from cows, and maybe hearing that GOBBLE of the big one. Jeremy and family, remember.... Family, Faith, and Friends. Love ya all!
Stay strong my cancer brother.

Jeremy, Val, and Jerry:
We are praying for all of you. Thank you so much for this blog. I know we all wish we could lift this burden away from all of you, but what we can do is help carry you through to cancer free and through prayer I know He will get you there.
You are all such a blessing to us! Jeremy, I don't know you personally, but I feel like I know you from hearing about you from your Mom and from that I know you are "all that"- you keep your chin up and hang tough, you have so many people pulling for you!
Love,
LeaAnn H. and family
Jeremy,
A big "hello" from the whole family. You are in our thoughts and prayers ~ as well as the thoughts and prayers of hundreds of others!! Pretty amazing how many people your family has come in contact with, isn't it?!? Maybe if Val would just come out of her shell every now and then....
Never forget how much you are loved by all those people and by the Master Healer. I pray that you feel His hand upon everything that is going on right now. He loves you like no other!
Julie S.
