Up to Date

I have started this blog as a way I can keep everyone updated on Jeremy's progress as he goes thru the steps of his cancer treatments. I think I may have missed some people as I try to update them, so I thought this might be an easier way to keep in touch.
Jeremy starts his chemo tomorrow, Monday, April 14. He is anxious to get the ball rolling so he can be done.

I want to thank all of you for the kindness you have shown our family thru out this time. The cards, notes, phone calls, gifts..etc....have meant so much to our family. This is a bump in our road of life, but not one we can't overcome. As this process begins, we are just asking God to be with every person who will be taking care of Jerm over the next few month's aand we are praying for comfort and strength for Jerm.

I will try and blog every day, at least every other day to let you know how things are going. I am also posting the previous emails, because I am sure that I may have missed a few people. Again, thanks for your prayers and your kindness.

Val, Jerry, and Jeremy

You all are foremost in our thoughts and prayers. As Pharmacists (chemists) we will target our prayers to focus on the chemo meds, that they completely negate the cancerous cells.

"No weapon formed against Jeremy shall prosper!!".

Sincerely

Andy and Jeanne Gerwitz

Val you know me..but for Jerry and Jeremy I am Vals Bible Study friend.
You all will be the first ones in my prayers when I wake up in the morning. I am not sure what all goes on in chemo, but I will sure pray for everyone that will be involved in helping with Jeremy.
Thanks for letting me read the blog Val.

Jeremy, Val, and Jerry...
May God continue to give you strength, comfort, and patience as you work towards curing your cancer. May He continue to give guidance and wisdom to all those in the medical field who will help you. May you know, truly know, how MANY, MANY people are praying for you, thinking about you, and willing to do anything to help you.
Your blessings are in abundance...now just get out there and beat this thing!
Take care of yourselves....as we will continue to keep you in our prayers.

Val,Jerry & Jeremy,
Our family is praying for you. Stay strong and rely on those around you who really do want to help in anyway they can. Believe me letting people do things for me was very hard, but I soon realized I couldn't have traveled the path without them.
Jeremy stay strong and keep the good attitude. Jim's doctors told him a good attitude had everything to do with his recovery.
God's Blessings,
Casey Vieth

Hey Schwentker Family: I write to the whole family as cancer affects the whole family. Jeremy I'm so glad to see your strength in undergoing your treatments. I'm glad to be on this side to give you encouragement, especially as you have your ups and downs. Remember to count you blessings on those down days and not to dwell on all you aches and pains. If you pray for peace you will receive it. It doesn't make what you're going through any better but it does give you the peace that you will make it through like so many of us survivors have. You have a very large family so please don't hesitate to as for our help, that is, everything except getting your Mom a new car. I have a feeling they won't let us take up a collection at church for that.

Have a peaceful day,

Deb diZ :)

Aunt Val,
It's been so long since I've seen or talked to you guys. And it really sucks that something like this had to "bring us back together." I love you all and please let Jeremy know I love him and he's in my prayers.
